Smaller stock to watch
Tersus Energy, the AIM-listed renewable
and alternative energy investment vehicle chaired by
John Devaney, the former executive chairman of Eastern
Electricity, added 1p to 41_p on unveiling a $2 million
(£1.2 million) first tranche investment in HT
Blade, a state-backed, Chinese wind turbine blade maker.
KBC Peel Hunt, house broker, notes that wind installation
in China is expected to triple over the next four years
if the 2010 targets of the Chinese Renewable Energy
Industries Associations are to be met. In December Tersus
raised £4 million at 36p, its first share issue
since February’s float.
